My take

I really love where you are going with this song. I see infinite potential. Bear that in mind as I deliver my critiques.

All of the notes are being hit at similar timing, and similar velocity. This creates a hypnotic effect that bores the listener. Try to not be so rigid in your song writing. Also, some more instruments in the right places will help accentuate key points that you are trying to make. Practice practice practice!

Never give up, and give 'er another go. You will get there, and I will proud of you when you do.

My take

I love some of the ideas but I think the main problem with the song can be summed up pretty easily. Check out articles on mixing, and learn about 3K theory. It's an audio frequency that the human ear cannot handle. Can't wait to hear your next track!

Heartfelt, and very soulful. Extend the song, add some more variation, write some truly meaningful lyrics and this WILL be on my music playlist.

What I suggest you do is try playing around with dynamics. They can make all the difference in the world when trying to make an impact at certain points of the song.
